9.22.18 | Wedding Day!
I am so, so very excited to finally share our wedding day with you!! From top to bottom, this whole process has been liberating, stressful, full of happiness and learning, and in the end it was all relief and pure joy. I planned our whole wedding day in exactly one year and I could not be any prouder or happier with how the whole day turned out.
We feel so very lucky for each and every one of our friends, families and co-workers who came and celebrated with us - not just on the actual day, but the whole week, too! We loved having everyone here in our city and sharing that and our day with you was the highlight of the whole week. We love you all so much and hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.
A big thank you to our vendors as well. Boy, do we feel even MORE lucky to have found friends in you all, too. We could not have chosen better people to help us with our day and you all made it as perfect as it was so thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Me + Dad | First Look
This was so so special to me. I wanted to make sure that not only I had a first look with Justin, but one with my dad, too. I am his first daughter, and the first out of me and my sisters to get married. He is one of my biggest supporters, fans, a person who knows what to say when I need advice and is always there to listen when all I need is an ear. He is the greatest dad who has been through more than he deserves. This moment and day I will never forget and I am so happy we got to share it together.
Two years ago we lost my dad’s mom. She loved her grandchildren and her kids and I know it was tough on all of us that she wasn’t there. So, for my dads wedding gift, I gave him a cut out fabric heart that had a picture of him, my grandmother and I on my 21st birthday. Both are kissing me on the cheek and blue embroidery lined the outside shape of the heart (her favorite color). Also embroidered was “So you can walk me together” and our wedding date. He was able to pin this is in suit jacket over his heart while he walked me down the aisle. My aunt had actually taken a piece of one of her blue night gowns and gave that to me for around my bouquet, so they ended up matching perfectly. I gave it to my dad during our first look and if you can’t tell by the photos, he really loved it.
Justin and I | First Look and Couples Pictures
These are some of my favorite photos of Justin and I! Our first look was so sweet and we were both so nervous and excited! I love the photo of him on my shoulder, too. I married such a loving, sweet man and I feel so lucky!

Justin and I had so much fun picking out and making the decor for our ceremony/reception. Minimal, romantic, and warm was what we were hoping for and it turned out better than we had expected it to!
When we planned our ceremony and wedding in general, we wanted to make it as personal as possible. We had hoped everyone left the room that day feeling so much love and I think we accomplished that. The most incredible part of it all though was truly feeling like we were the only two people in the room. I’m not going to lie, I forgot everyone else was there! But that made it feel so much more intimate for us and I am so glad we both felt that way!
We all got DOWN at the reception! So fun to be able to dance, sing and just let loose after such a crazy emotional day! Justin and I’s first dance song was “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson and I had my dad chose and surprise me with our first dance song. He chose “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. And fun fact is that for my 16th birthday, he took me to see them and it was our first concert together. We would sing their songs in the car all the time so it was such a perfect “full circle” moment.
Again, we are so thankful to have each and every one of you in our lives and we feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate our love with you all!
Love always, xoxo
